Kowhaiwhai Template

 

For the SLJ we had to make a Kowhaiwhai Template this is shown in the inside of a marae if you look up usually, in this case, it would have gone on in a pattern. The most challenging thing about this is to make a pattern that I thought looked good this reminds me that people are helping the plants grow because the pattern on the right and on the left look more like people with no heads you could say and that's what I think.

We have started the summer learning journey we had to do an activity that made us make a comic strip and read and write about our main characters in the story 

Day one of SLJ

This is the list of stuff that I would bring on a canoe for three weeks

Today we did our day one of the SLJ and we had to write down 10 foods to take on a canoe for three weeks the reason that I picked lemon juice because if you pour lemon juice on food it makes it last longer and the reason that I picked all the fruit is because it lasts very long
