The good and bad sides to Sportsmanship and if your not one

 Hello for the next few weeks we are doing our literacy on sportsmanship we will be doing a bunch of different things around sportsmanship. The hardest thing was thinking about the bad side and the easy bit was thinking about the good side, hope you keep up to date.

Hello is future Harlem after lockdown we have to go to school again it’s kinda sad but kinda fun at the same time. Right now we are in level 2 which is good because I can go to my friends and my family’s houses. Our new school rules are that we have to sanitize our hands and take our shoes. During lockdown, I didn’t do that much with my family just a lot of walks. For learning in lockdown it was great because it was super quiet and it was easier. In lockdown, I was with dad and mum I was a lot of switching. For lockdown, I found out about level 4 and 3 really on the days it was sad.

Anzac Poem

Kia ora everyone we in whenua have been learning about the ANZACS the Australian New Zealand army corps and I have written a Poem about them so here it is...

Boom as the tank fired louder than anyone had ever heard.

Young men terrified of what was out there.

Massive trenches cover the ground filled with soldiers preparing for battle. 

Bullets flying everywhere.

Poppies growing over everything.

The war had ended.

Keil came to school

Today Keil came to school for a while and he is coming back to do life education with Harold. At break time we got to walk around with Keil. Next time I'm in Christchurch I an going to see Keil and we are going to have so much fun it will be so cool just like last time.

The rules of the world cup 9's

There are only 9 players on the field at once.
There are 9-minute halves and the half time is 2-minutes.
You can do a 40/20 or 20/40.
There is a bonus zone where if you score there you get 5 points instead of 4.
Instead of conversions on the tee, you have to do your conversions by dropkicking the ball.
When you start a half you will kick off a tee but after that, you just kick off by dropkicks.
After you have scored you when you've done the conversion you will kick to the other team instead of receiving the ball.

2019 men's world cup 9's Finals

They start with the NewZealand national anthem. Then they go on to the Australian national anthem. For some reason, they don't let the Kiwis do the Haka. Shaun Johnson does an amazing kick and held up Kyle Feldt. The first try goes to the Kiwis and it is scored by Reimis Smith. then the Kiwis nearly score again. But after a while, Australia score with Mitchell Moses. then straight away the Kiwis score with Jamayne Isaako. Then again straight away Australia score again with Mitchell Moses. these are the scores at half time 13 - 10 through half time one of the people on the field had a talk to Mitchell Moses. For the second half, the Kiwis kick-off. Australia makes an amazing off Ben Hunt. But Kodi Nikorima gives away the weakest penalty. Then Australia score with Kyle Feldt but with this try, the reffere didn't watch Kyle Feldt do a double movement. Then Mitchell Moses scored the final try and got a hattrick for Australia and Australia win the 2019 men's world cup 9's. This is the final score 24 - 10 to Australia. Now they congratulate Australia and NewZealand. Mitchell Moses was the player of the tournament. then Shaun Johnson and Mitchell Moses both made amazing speeches. Then they award the medals. Then Wade Graham made an amazing speech to end it all off.

Australia trash Samoa 25 - 8 I'm pretty sure that they didn't have there captain Wade Graham so I'm pretty sure that they could have won by if they had Graham. I of my favourite players Josh Addo - Carr scored a try.

2019 Women's Kiwi ferns win the world cup 9's

Saturday, 19, October
Today the women's NewZealand world cup 9's team won the 9's women's tournament. In the final game, the Kiwi ferns bet the Australian Jillaroos 15 - 17 ever player from the Kiwi ferns got a medal. But the person who got the player of the tournament I'm pretty sure that it was Gracie McGregor. Then the Honey Hireme made an amazing speech. But the best part of all I got to watch it with my Dad.

My New Baby Cousin

In the school holidays, my Aunty & her boyfriend Adam had the cutest baby ever. The baby has no name yet so we call her Peanut, because she is very small. My favourite things are that she is so small and cute Plus I get to hug her. And I got to stay the night at my Auntys house so I got to see the baby in the morning, and I got to see my other Cousin before she went to preschool. I’m not going to be able to see two of my Cousins because one of my Cousins is in Christchurch and the other one is at preschool but after her preschool finishes she is staying at her dad's.

Today we read a book called Kepapa Huarākau there were instructions to make kepapa huarākau. It was very yummy I enjoyed making it because it was fun.

Hokey Pokey

I this is my video of when I & my tech group made hokey. I enjoyed working as a team. I fort it was hard reading the instructions. I think to make our hokey pokey BTB is adding more of the ingredients & take it out straight away. The science behind the hokey pokey is that the golden syrup adds all the color, the sugar adds the sweetness & the baking powder makes it larger.

The Justice Nut Part One

 

Suddenly there was a flashing bolt of speed that flew past Bat Squirrel. So Bat Squirrel called upon the Justice Nut. And the Justice Nut checked all the satellites and radars to see what was going on. Then the Justice Nut realized that it was Reverse Nut and he was planning to take over the world and kill Speeding Nut. (I don't know how many speeding tickets they have got).  Bat Squirrel said to Super Squirrel, “Go and fly around the world to find Reverse Nut because we need to stop him from taking over the world!”

And Wonder Squirrel stopped wondering and made sure Speeding Nut didn’t get captured’. Then Super Squirrel flu and found Reverse Nut in Russia. So then Super Squirrel Contacked Bat Squirrel Super Squirrel said 

“ I’ve found Reverse Nut he is in Russia what he’s on the move”. “Well Super Squirrel,” said Bat Squirrel “follow him where ever he goes ok”. “ Yup,” said Super Squirrel. Then Super Squirrel went after Reverse Nut.

Nuggets Adventure Part one

Nuggets Adventure

Chapter 1

Once there was a Chicken Nugget. That Chicken Nuggets name was Nugget. And one day something happened to Nugget at his home the Chicken Nugget Takeaway shop. Late at night Nugget’s parents put Nugget to bed and all night Nugget could hear the sizzling of his parents. Now Nugget says he will find the food that did this and that moment he became SuperNugget.

Chapter 2

The next day.

Nugget made a plan to escape the Chicken Nugget Takeaway shop. He was thinking of going through the vents to make an escape. While the person was selling Chicken Nuggets. Nugget thought this was the time he was gonna be free. So he said to all his Nugget friends goodbye and ran off. He hoped that his Nugget friends were gonna stay safe. So he took off on his adventure.

 Day 1  Nugget was in the vents but there were three vents Nugget didn’t know which one to take to get out. Nugget went down the second vent. There were spider webs all around Nugget but luckily he was very flexible and dodged all of them with no webs on him Nugget was very happy. Nugget started to hear noises down the vent he thought he was just hearing things so continued his journey to get out. There was dust everywhere he stood with lots of dust in his eyes. He was starving and his batter was getting soggy. In the distance he found another chicken nugget. The other chicken nugget said she ran away as well. The other chicken nugget said that her name was Sauce.

  

Chapter 3 

Then Nugget and Sauce had a baby they named it BBQ.

BBQ loved to play around. But suddenly they heard a squeak they looked around and they saw a… RAT!! Nugget, Sauce, and BBQ ran as fast as they could but BBQ couldn’t run so Nugget carried him. There were two holes to go through Nugget and sauce went in separate tunnels. Nugget took BBQ and ran. the rat followed Nugget because the rat wanted more food. Sauce found another rat and sprinted as fast as she could and found another hole. When they dropped the holes were joined together. So now there were two rats running at Nugget, Sauce, and BBQ. But at least they were together as a family. the rat said you may now kiss the bride & they closed BBQs eyes.
